Soft Shimmery Red Eyes with Soft Pink Lips : Makeup Look

Hi dolls! Gawdd, I miss blogging! I was caught up with so many things plus my internet connection isn't really helping thus no blog posts for almost a week :( Anyways, I am back with another makeup look! This will only be a short and quick post alright ladies? This look has been probably my most favourite makeup look for last week. I love how easy it is to create but still looking pretty good. There will be days I want to incorporate eyeshadows in my daily makeup routine. And usually when I do that, I will only use two to three shades of eyeshadows max. For this look, the star of the whole look has to be Savee's single eyeshadow! So pigmented tho it is quite powdery but I love the color! I am not really sure what code it is since I deported the eyeshadow into another casing.

For the makeup look, I started off as usual. My eyebrows, my concealer and powder routines. I used a shimmery brown on my eyelids focusing on the center of the eyelids. At the outer corner of my eyes, I used the Savee's eyeshadow and blended it in. Took a lil bit of matte brown eyeshadow from Elianto and lined 3/4 of my lower lashlines with that. Took my mascara and applied one coat of that only on my lower lashes. It will give you that opening eyes look but looking quite natural. I love love love doing that! Did my eyeliner thinner than usual with small wing at the end of it and finished it off with soft pink lips! I love how everything turned out well and blended well with each other! I am sorry dolls as I do not have the photos of the products I used for this makeup look. :(

My long time passion.

Hi girls! I am quite excited to share this with y'all because for those who knows me, they know how much I love to do this and I've been doing this for quite a while now. *grins. So, what I'm about to share with you ladies today is nothing extraordinary. It's just something that I love to do and Alhamdulillah, people around me are very supportive about this. It started off as a hobby and I can actually say that I can make money out of this hobby right here, Alhamdulillah. Tho I'm still learning and trust me I have a lot more to learn, I am happy when there are people out there trust me to do their makeups. Yes dolls! It's about my passion as makeup artist/crew. I cringe at calling myself a makeup artist because I'm still new in this. *hides face.

Okay, it all started when I was in my college's english drama team and I was in the makeup team. Later, I was involved with a play production and in that year it was Beauty and The Beast. Again, I was in the makeup team and I have no one to thank but Azze for inviting me to join in the team. :) And again, I was called to join in festik's makeup team. I was happy to be able to things that I love and the smiles that I put on people's faces. Satisfying feeling ever! That's that and I thought it's gonna end there. The next year, it happened again. I was in my college's english drama team and I was in charge for the makeup. And again Azze asked me to join in her play production which was The Great Gatsby and I went for the audition. I got in and I was in the makeup team. :) I did the makeup for Daisy Buchanan aka Fatin and the dancers. Such pleasure working with the ladies. Too bad I didn't take any photos with them. I should remind myself to take photos whenever I'm involved with this kind of thing! The play was a success, everyone was happy. Yeay! 2015 is the final year I'm involved with my college's english drama team and the last time I worked as one of the makeup crews. ;') The most recent one was Festik. It ended yesterday and to be honest I had no intention of joining the team. Karthik asked for my help and because he was so helpful during our english drama competition, I agreed to help him along with my friends. That's about me joining the makeup team for college and play productions.

Few of my friends trusted me to do their makeups and I was paid for that. To be honest, I was really nervous to do pretty makeups because I was so used to stage makeups and it's a lot different than pretty makeups. I tried my best and Alhamdulillah, so far they're loving it! The only reason why I'm sharing this with y'all because I want to share my passion with you guys. Do things that you love and do it sincerely. Go for your dreams and I am still taking baby steps in this passion of mine. I have high hopes and I will never stop learning. Live your dreams, dolls! Here's few of the photos that I have. :)

Makeup for Nisa for the fashion show event!

I hope y'all are entertained by this post! Go for your dreams ladies!

Collection Cosmetics Concealer : Review

Hi ladies! Today I'm going to review on something that is one of the most essential items for makeup lovers out there. Can you guess what it is? Yes, it is concealer! No makeup collection will ever be complete without a concealer regardless of the price. I am still using concealers from drugstore and I have never owned any concealer from high end brands. You should never underestimate the quality of drugstore items. *grins. Nways, the concealer that I'm going to review on today is the most recent purchase that I made which is the Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer in code Cool Medium 2. Phew, the name is so long! The reason why I purchased this is because I ran out of my most favourite concealer which is the Maybelline's concealer :( and also I wanted to try out something new!

I believe the one that I got is not the lightest shade because when I swatched it at the store, it appeared to be a bit darker and yellowish compared to my usual color. But it looked fine after I blended it all out so I bought it. The price is cheaper than the Maybelline one. And plus it was on sale at that time. I retailed it at the price of RM16.90 so yeah gurlll I like anything that is below rm20! The bottle is slimmer than the Maybelline's. It comes with a wand, nothing unusual about that because it is pretty normal for drugstore concealers to come with a wand. Wand makes it easier and faster to apply your concealer but it can also be quite unhygienic. It is advisable not to share anything like this with anyone else. Alright ladies?

Now, what about the consistency of this concealer you may ask. Well, apart from it being a bit yellowish for my skin tone, the consistency is excellent. It is thick but not that kind of thick that will make you feel disturbed once you apply it on your face. One minus point for this concealer is that, it has scent to it, like plastic and very superficial scent. I don't like it. But it all disappears once you blend it out so no worries alright? Another minus point for this is that once you put it on your face, you need to work it out fast because it dries up quickly! Once that happens, you need to put in more time and effort to blend it all out. Happened to me once so I am speaking based on experience hahah.

Swatches without blending.

After blending!

Alright, I would suggest this concealer for those who wants something affordable but works really well. What do you think ladies? Let me know your thoughts in the comment box down below!

Until next post, stay tuned beauties!

Sleek Eyeshadow Palette in Vintage Romance : Review

Hello ladies! I'm back with another review, I hope y'all are up for this! The item that I'll be reviewing today is the none other than the Sleek Eyeshadow Palette in Vintage Romance! I have had this palette for quite a while now and I find myself reaching for this palette for a lot of times this past weeks. I must be loving this palette so much. Alright, I got this palette from Luxola.com If you haven't checked that website out, you should do it now. And plus, they always have discounts for you girls so check 'em out alright! This palette would be the second Sleek eyeshadow palette that I own. The first one is the Bad Girl palette. Let's look at the palette first!

This palette comes in 12 super pigmented shades and most of them are either with heavy shimmers or subtle shimmers. There is only one shade in this palette that is totally matte and it is the soft reddish brown in the first row. This is more like a transition color or can also be used as contouring shade.  It also comes with an applicator which I don't really use unless I need to. I have used maybe not all but two or three shades which I absolutely love! I usually use the gold shade in the inner corner of my eyes and as well as on my lower lashline. Pretty! The dark bronzy color is also my favourite for adding more definition to my eyes. The first color on the second row from your left, is such a sweet color. I love that as well! The shades are shimmery but so far, I have no terrible fall outs when I use this palette. For such an affordable eyeshadow palette, this worths every penny. :) Now, the swatches!

The first row colors!

The second row colors!

I would definitely say, the first row of colors in this palette are all glittery and the colors are not as intense as on the second row! The second row offers you more intense and deep colors which are more suitable for night look. Either way, I love these colors and I will find a way to use all the colors in this palette more often! What do you think ladies about this palette? Let me know in the comment box below!

Until next post, stay tuned beauties!

MAC Lipstick in Diva : Review

Hello ladies! This one week has been an emotional and tiring week for me. What can you expect? Being in my final year and just starting my final year project aka fyp, it gets a lil bit too overwhelmed at times. But I love being busy. It gets my mind off things and I have no time to waste (yelah tu). Okay, enough with that. I have another review for you dolls! I have been wanting to talk about this for the longest time! Super excited about this because as a makeup junkie, you will reach to a point where you say to yourself, 'Hey, I think it's about time I get something from the high end brands.' And yess, this item would be the first ever item I have ever got from the high end brands! I didn't purchase this because this was given to me as a birthday present. Sweetest birthday present ever. :) You might not know this but I am truly madly in love with lipstickssss! I am willing to splurge on lipsticks because the overloading love I have for them! *grins. The item that I'm going to review today is the lipstick from MAC in Diva. See the name? Fits me muy perfecto!

I believe Diva is not an exclusive item because it has been in the store for quite some time so I don't think this item will be discontinued. And also this has been one of the most raved lipstick by the beauty bloggers out there. Being a lover of both red and dark lipsticks, Diva has been on my list for a long time! I love how deep the color is and how vampy it looks like. I would describe the color as deep burgundy red. But then again, it is how thick you apply the lipstick. I usually go for one thick layer for night look and one thin layer for daylight look. Yes I do use vibrant color for my daylight look because I am that kinda girl. Hihihi. Now, the scent. This lipstick has this sweet vanilla-ish scent to it which I don't mind at all. Because once you apply it on your lips, the scent goes away which means it doesn't linger around so yeah that's pretty cool.

This lipstick worths every penny because of the super amazing staying power! Girl, if you're looking for a lipstick which doesn't leaves horrible stains after you eat and drink, go for MAC lipsticks. I'm not sure about other lipsticks from MAC but this makes a good pretty impression for a first timer like me. After hours, I would still have the lipstick and even if it leaves stains, Diva does it fabulously.I believe that this lipstick is both matte and moisturising. Doesn't dry out my lips and it is not fully matte when you first apply it but after a while it'll turn into matte. Don't worry girls :) I have to give bonus point for their staying power. Superbly amazing! I'm looking forward for my future lipsticks with MAC. Gotta save up money now! Photos time!

Thin layer and thick layer.

Elianto Celestial 2 in 1 Eyeliner : Review

Annyeonghaseyo dolls! Changing my greeting because I kinda feel like a kpop superstar right now. Don't ask me why. Okay, I'm back with another review and this time it's on eyeliners! Who here doesn't love eyeliners? Or don't own one? Goshh girls, y'all better get one alright? Because you know why? Eyeliners are life saviour! Eyeliners can totally change how we look instantly! The product that I'm going to review today is the Elianto Celestial 2 in 1 Eyeliner in Snow White and Vintage Green. I got these two when Elianto was having a sale so I am really sorry because I couldn't remember the price for this eyeliner.

The eyeliners!

The eyeliners!

Now, onto the products! It is pencil type but more like gel-pencil type. U get me? The eyeliner is in pencil form but the formula of the tips are gel like. I'm so bad at describing things right? Okay.. The packaging is something that I love. The color of the body is in deep green, correct me if I'm wrong. The cap is in gold color which I laaaavv! It has like floral design to it and it's in gold as well! You may differentiate the colors by looking at the end of the pencil. Or you can just refer to the code name of the eyeliners :p

Tip of the eyeliner, VG.

Tip of the eyeliner, SW.

Vintage Green is like the deep green color. Definitely my favourite kind of green. And it has subtle shimmers to it. Tho I wish it'd be just matte without any shimmer but that's fine. The Snow White is pure white color with more shimmers to it. Both are in waterproof formula. It doesn't smudge easily, bonus point for that! How I use these eyeliners? For the Vintage Green, I either use it like normal eyeliner or I use it as the base for my eyeshadows. Works great either way. :) As for the Snow White, I usually use it at the lower lashline of my eyes. I have never used the white one for any other purposes except that. Should've experimented more! Overall, I'm pretty happy and satisfied with these eyeliners.

Swatches! Without flash!

Swatches! With flash on!

Will I buy it again in the future? Nope. I would love to try other eyeliners and I believe these two would lasts a long time.

Until next post, stay tuned beauties!

Soft Brown Smokey Eyes with berry pink lips : Makeup Look

Hi dolls! Today I'm back with another makeup look. This particular makeup look has been my favourite and I even had this makeup look during the 2015 Birthday Bash! I love how easy it is to create and how soft but defined the eye makeup is. For this makeup look, I did not play with a lot of colors. Why go through all the hassle when you can create a beautiful eye makeup while keeping it minimal? The attention of this makeup look has to be on the eyes but personally I think, everything else was on balance as well. The eyebrows, cheeks and lips!

I started off with my day cream and I went ahead and put my concealer. Since I have finished my Maybelline's concealer, I am currently using Cosmetic Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in code 2, Cool Medium. I will do a separate review on this concealer, alright ladies? I then continued with my eyebrows and I am sorry because I did not include my eyebrow pencil in the photo. Before I did my eyeshadows, I put on a bit of eye primer. I used the Essence eye primer and this has been serving me quite a while now. Blend that out and onto the eyeshadows!

For the eyeshadows, I started off by contouring my eyes and I used the Sleek Contouring Kit for this along with my Pencil brush from Zoeva.  I wanted a warm brown color and the contouring color in this kit was perfect! To add more definition to the eyes, I used a single eyeshadow from Elianto which is a darker brown shade and for that I used my blending brush from Barbara Holfmann.  I used that color at the outer corner of my eyes, I didn't drag it out too much. I ensured that the color didn't stray too much and I kept it on the eyelids only. For the darker brown shade, I didn't go as high as the first color. I kept it only at the outer corner of my eyes and blend it out. If you wanna use this look for a night makeup look, take a lil bit of black eyeshadow and blend it out at the outer corner of your eyes. It will give a more bold look. :) I took the highlighting powder from the same kit and pat it on the center of my eyelids. For this, I used my ring finger because it was so much easier! Took my Zoeva Smudger brush and with the darker brown eyeshadow, I lined my lower lashline only 3/4 of it. To finish off the eye makeup, I drew my eyeliner thinly just to give more defined look.

To seal everything up, I used my Matte Loose powder from Essence. For this, I used my powder brush from Holika Holika and swiped it across ma face! To give off a more softer look, I used a lil bit of blush and I used In2it blush in Tempt.  Now, the last part would be the lips! I primed my lips with the Kelyane HD lipbalm that I got in Arab Saudi. I don't think this is sold in Malaysia but you may use whatever lipbalm that you have. Let that sit for a while and I continued with lining my lips with Elianto's lipliner in Tomato Coral. Love this so very much! In other days, I would just use this lipliner as my lipstick! I finished it off by applying a thin layer of Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo. That's pretty much about my most recent favourite makeup look! And by the way, all the photos for this post are edited. It's because I want the eye makeup to look better and clearer.

Vintage Green eyeliner, Pink Cheeks & Lips : Makeup Look

Hi ladies! Have you ever had a day where you just want to do something different rather than doing your usual makeup routine? Well, I had those days and this time I'm gonna share with y'all what I did with my makeup recently. Instead of doing the usual black eyeliner, I switched it up with my green eyeliner. I did a review on that eyeliner so y'all might want to check that up here! I drew the eyeliner as usual, my signature winged eyeliner look. And I decided that it was too normal and a bit plain, so I contoured my eyes a lil bit using my Sleek Contour Kit and I use my Luxe Pencil Brush by Zoeva for that!

My eyes were a bit bold but still I didn't play with too many colours so I blushed up my cheeks a lil bit. Just to give that hint of colors and to brighten up the whole look! (Plus I had to shoot a video on that day so I didn't want to look to wash out so yeah) For the blush, I used the only blush that I own which is the In2it blush in code 02 Tempt. To apply that, I used my Essence blush brush. This brush has been with me for so long, love love it! To match that pink cheeks, I applied my new found love lipstick which is the In2it Colour Stix in code 04. For a drugstore lipstick and cheap, the color payoff is great and I have nothing not to love about this lipstick. :) Dolls, y'all might want to head out to the nearest Watsons and get your hands on those super cheap lipstick! To seal everything up, I used my Essence fixing loose powder. That's pretty much of what I did with my recent makeup look. I hope you like it!

Sleek Face Contour Kit : Review

Hello dolls! Today's post will be on a review. Now, who doesn't love a review on products especially makeups? *grins. Okay, I have had this product for quite some time and I have also used it for couple of times. The product that I'm going to review today is the Face Contour Kit by Sleek Makeup in Light 884. I have always wanted a face contour kit and when I saw this on Luxola, I knew I had to get it. I believe this kit is retailed at myr54 ish but I got it when it was on sale. :)

Sleek products are all so sleek looking. Quite a genius for using Sleek as their brand name aite? Just like their other palettes, this contour kit has nothing unusual design to it. It comes in all black case with Sleek Makeup printed on it. All black except for the ingredients of the product at the back of the case, those are in white fonts. I have nothing against the packaging, love love love it! Except that it gets stained easily but that doesn't matter, it doesn't bother me that much. This product weighs 14g and I'm not pretty sure whether that's a lot of product or what but to me, it is. Considering that I don't go around every day contouring my face, I believe this will last me a long time. :)

This kit has two parts to it. The contouring powder and the highlighting powder. I got myself the lightest kit of this product since I have fair skin. I was contemplating whether to get the Light or Medium kit but I ended up with the Light 884. This kit also comes with a mirror just like the usual compact powder! That's a bonus point for Sleek Makeup! Tho I hardly use the mirror but one can never tell when one needs a mirror, right? :) It doesn't come with any applicator but that's cool because I use my Real Techniques's Contouring brush to apply this!

Now, onto the main thing which is the product itself. The contouring powder has matte finish to it and yes I laaavvv it! I use this to contour my cheeks, nose and sometimes as the transition color when I do my eye makeup. The highlighting powder has shimmery finish to it. But then again, of course it does since that's what highlighting powder needs to do. I also use the highlighting powder to highlight the inner corner of my eyes and under my brow bones apart from the usual task which is to highlight your cheeks and the bridge of your nose! I have no complaints so far regarding this face contour kit!

With flash on!
Without flash!

Dolls, I would not say this is the best face contour kit in town but for an affordable product, it does great job so far! I believe you cannot get this in any drugstore or Sephora. You can get it from Luxola.com Any purchase above myr40 is free postage! Here are some photos on the product and swatches of it!

Until next post, stay tuned beauties!
