Soft Brown Smokey Eyes with berry pink lips : Makeup Look

Hi dolls! Today I'm back with another makeup look. This particular makeup look has been my favourite and I even had this makeup look during the 2015 Birthday Bash! I love how easy it is to create and how soft but defined the eye makeup is. For this makeup look, I did not play with a lot of colors. Why go through all the hassle when you can create a beautiful eye makeup while keeping it minimal? The attention of this makeup look has to be on the eyes but personally I think, everything else was on balance as well. The eyebrows, cheeks and lips!

I started off with my day cream and I went ahead and put my concealer. Since I have finished my Maybelline's concealer, I am currently using Cosmetic Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in code 2, Cool Medium. I will do a separate review on this concealer, alright ladies? I then continued with my eyebrows and I am sorry because I did not include my eyebrow pencil in the photo. Before I did my eyeshadows, I put on a bit of eye primer. I used the Essence eye primer and this has been serving me quite a while now. Blend that out and onto the eyeshadows!

For the eyeshadows, I started off by contouring my eyes and I used the Sleek Contouring Kit for this along with my Pencil brush from Zoeva.  I wanted a warm brown color and the contouring color in this kit was perfect! To add more definition to the eyes, I used a single eyeshadow from Elianto which is a darker brown shade and for that I used my blending brush from Barbara Holfmann.  I used that color at the outer corner of my eyes, I didn't drag it out too much. I ensured that the color didn't stray too much and I kept it on the eyelids only. For the darker brown shade, I didn't go as high as the first color. I kept it only at the outer corner of my eyes and blend it out. If you wanna use this look for a night makeup look, take a lil bit of black eyeshadow and blend it out at the outer corner of your eyes. It will give a more bold look. :) I took the highlighting powder from the same kit and pat it on the center of my eyelids. For this, I used my ring finger because it was so much easier! Took my Zoeva Smudger brush and with the darker brown eyeshadow, I lined my lower lashline only 3/4 of it. To finish off the eye makeup, I drew my eyeliner thinly just to give more defined look.

To seal everything up, I used my Matte Loose powder from Essence. For this, I used my powder brush from Holika Holika and swiped it across ma face! To give off a more softer look, I used a lil bit of blush and I used In2it blush in Tempt.  Now, the last part would be the lips! I primed my lips with the Kelyane HD lipbalm that I got in Arab Saudi. I don't think this is sold in Malaysia but you may use whatever lipbalm that you have. Let that sit for a while and I continued with lining my lips with Elianto's lipliner in Tomato Coral. Love this so very much! In other days, I would just use this lipliner as my lipstick! I finished it off by applying a thin layer of Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo. That's pretty much about my most recent favourite makeup look! And by the way, all the photos for this post are edited. It's because I want the eye makeup to look better and clearer.

Vintage Green eyeliner, Pink Cheeks & Lips : Makeup Look

Hi ladies! Have you ever had a day where you just want to do something different rather than doing your usual makeup routine? Well, I had those days and this time I'm gonna share with y'all what I did with my makeup recently. Instead of doing the usual black eyeliner, I switched it up with my green eyeliner. I did a review on that eyeliner so y'all might want to check that up here! I drew the eyeliner as usual, my signature winged eyeliner look. And I decided that it was too normal and a bit plain, so I contoured my eyes a lil bit using my Sleek Contour Kit and I use my Luxe Pencil Brush by Zoeva for that!

My eyes were a bit bold but still I didn't play with too many colours so I blushed up my cheeks a lil bit. Just to give that hint of colors and to brighten up the whole look! (Plus I had to shoot a video on that day so I didn't want to look to wash out so yeah) For the blush, I used the only blush that I own which is the In2it blush in code 02 Tempt. To apply that, I used my Essence blush brush. This brush has been with me for so long, love love it! To match that pink cheeks, I applied my new found love lipstick which is the In2it Colour Stix in code 04. For a drugstore lipstick and cheap, the color payoff is great and I have nothing not to love about this lipstick. :) Dolls, y'all might want to head out to the nearest Watsons and get your hands on those super cheap lipstick! To seal everything up, I used my Essence fixing loose powder. That's pretty much of what I did with my recent makeup look. I hope you like it!

Makeup Brushes : Real Techniques & Zoeva

Heyy dolls! How y'all doing? Wherever you are, I hope y'all are doing fabulously great! So today.. Errr I forgot what I wanted to say. Ahh yes. Makeup brushes! What is makeup without its essential tool? I mean, of course. When I first started with makeup, my fingers were the only tools or the applicators that came with the makeup haha. Now that I have moved a phase up which means I am no longer a beginner in the makeup world, I need a proper set of tools.

I would say I have a small size of makeup brushes collection. It is small if I were to compare it to other beauty bloggers out there. I have always been collecting single brushes even until now. Until recently, or to be precised last year, I started to go for a complete set of makeup brushes from a certain brand. For a start, I got myself the Core Collection from Real Techniques and I got this set from Luxola. This brand has been a rave among the beauty bloggers out there. Everyone was talking about it and I knew I had to get one set of it. Core Collection consists of four brushes and it comes in a pouch which is to me very convenient! You can even make 'em stand on its own which is uh uh super coolss. The four brushes are 2 foundation brushes, 1 concealer brush and 1 contouring brush. It has labels to it but you can always do whatever you want with the brush, right ladies? For example, the concealer brush. I don't use it for concealer. I think it's too small and it'd take a lot of time for me to conceal those flawwsss with a small brush. Instead, I use it for lipstick. So it is my lip brush now. Work with everything that you have ladies!

As for the Zoeva brushes, I got myself 3 brushes for eye makeups. I got them from Luxola and they were having sale at that time. The three brushes that I got are the 230 Luxe Pencil, 226 Smudger and 229 Eye Finish. My personal favourite has to be the 230 Luxe Pencil! And they all have their own personal pouch which is a bonus point for Zoeva! I am still very happy with the brushes that I got and I plan to get more from Zoeva line! Zoeva owns one of the finest makeup brushes and it is also considered as one of the most affordable makeup brushes line. I will try to do a separate blog posts on what I think of these two brands, okay dolls?

So dolls, y'all want my thoughts on these brushes? Let me know alright!

Until next post, stay tuned beauties!
